OpenMatch subscriptions like OpenMatch Plus, Gold, and Platinum “auto-renew”. This means that you will automatically be charged on a recurring basis, depending on the type of subscription you purchased. For example, if you purchase a 6-month OpenMatch Platinum subscription, your subscription will automatically renew at the end of that 6-month period. You must cancel your subscription prior to your auto-renew date to avoid additional charges. Visit this article for steps on how to cancel your subscription. Cancellation steps will vary based on your device, so make sure you’re following the steps that apply to you. Deleting your OpenMatch account will not cancel your subscription renewal.

Whenever the app doesn't immediately recognize your in-app purchases, you can restore your purchase to maintain access to subscriptions and other premium features.
Restoring your purchase will not initiate a new transaction; it will only reapply any pre-existing purchases.

To cancel your subscription using your iPhone:

  1. Open your iPhone Settings
  2. Tap your name, then tap Subscriptions
  3. Select the subscription you want to cancel
  4. Tap Cancel Subscription

Does your order number start with GPA? This means you made your purchase on the OpenMatch app for Android and you're billed by the Google Play Store.

To cancel your subscription using your Android phone:

  1. Open the Google Play app
  2. At the top right, tap the profile icon
  3. Tap Payments & subscriptions, and then Subscriptions
  4. Select the subscription you want to cancel
  5. Tap Cancel subscription

The safety of our members is very important to us. You can report anyone regardless of if you've matched with them or not.

To report someone, go to their profile > scroll down and tap Report.

OpenMatch offers free chat with other local members wherever you go! However, only members who have indicated a mutual interest in one another are allowed to chat. If you don’t have any matches yet, it's only a matter of time.

You can’t delete individual messages on OpenMatch. However, you can remove entire conversations by unmatching someone. When you unmatch someone, you’ll disappear from their match list and they'll disappear from yours.

You can't search for a specific person on OpenMatch. Generally, you can adjust who you see on OpenMatch by updating your Discovery preferences.

To verify your profile, tap either the Verify button in your own profile or another person’s verified badge. Then, take a selfie mimicking the random pose you see on your screen and send the selfie to OpenMatch by following the simple steps.

To change your profile photo on the OpenMatch app, follow these steps:

  1. Start by going to your profile
  2. Click on "Edit Profile"
  3. Drag any of your photos to the first position in the profile preview. Everyone will now see this photo first!

Face to Face, our new video chat feature, allows you to start a video call with your match directly on OpenMatch, making dating from home a whole lot simpler.

For security reasons, you’ll need to delete your OpenMatch account while signed into the app

Note: When you delete your account you will permanently lose matches, messages and other info associated with it.

To delete your account:

  1. Sign in to the OpenMatch app
  2. Tap the profile icon
  3. Go to Settings
  4. Scroll to the bottom of the page and tap Delete Account

Tap the profile icon > go to Settings > Notifications. Here, you can manage both email and push notifications for the app.

  3. Enter your phone number and verify
